"I went to Cabarete for the express purpose of improving my kiteboarding skills. Got there and was teamed up with Chris B.(CrazyChris). What a perfect match. Had good wind 4 out of 7 days. Those 4 days were spent with Chris and it was worth every minute and every penny. Chris was not only very knowledgeable about kiteboarding but extremely patient and encouraging. Learning to master the skills needed to kite in the ocean can be very stressfull. Chris made it fun and enjoyable. At the end of each lesson, I was tired but happy and a better kiter."

" The first time I saw kite surfing, I was amazed. I was coming across the Sun Shine Sky Way bridge on my way to Sarasota. From the top of the bridge I could see these beautiful colorful kites way off in the distance. It seemed like a dream, dancing all about and swriling in the air. I could not resist driving in that direction to find them. Once I got there to the beach, I saw this guy way up in the air flying like an eagle and he came down right next to me. That is when I met CrazyChris. Wow, what a super nice guy. When he came in, he asked if I could help him land his kite and he showed me how to do it. At that moment, I wanted to do it myself.
He offered lessons for $300 and guaranteed he could get me riding. I spent the next 3 days with CrazyChris. It was very frustrating at first, and I might not have been his best student, but in the end, I became a kiteboarder. I will never forget hearing him screaming at me the first time I got up on the board and sailed off. WOO HOO - You are doing it Bethany, go, go, go, don't stop, go, go, go!"
