Hang Time Kite Surfing was founded in 2006 off the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Venice Beach, Florida... Shark Tooth Capital of the World. Venice Florida is famous for its spectacular sunsets, and shark tooth findings. At Venice Jetties, you will find the best spot for wave surfing on the Gulf Coast.

We offer the only Mobile Kite Surfing School in the state right now. Our Instructors are able to travel, set up and teach at a beach closest to you. CrazyChris is both a P.A.S.A Certified and I.K.O. Certified Level 2 Kite Board Instructor. His back ground includes being a lifeguard, spring board dive coach as well as serving onboard the USS BAINBRIDGE in NAVY. Its nice to be able to count on the experience of a veteran with 6 years experience as a Kite Boarder and 3 years experience as an Instructor logging over 60 students and over 400 hours. Ask him any time for advice on your kite skills or kite gear and he will always be happy to help out. We have a network of instructors who are mobile and can meet you at your nearest beach. We offer lessons in Florida and the Dominican Republic. Some favorite sites include: Sarasota Bay, Tampa Bay  Venice Beach, Nokomis Beach, Lido Beach, Siesta Key, Sun Shine Skyway Bridge, St. Pete Beach and Fort De Soto East Beach. Arrange a Kite Boarding trip to Cabarete or Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and learn to Kite Surf ISLAND STYLE.

Beginner lessons are taught in shallow waters.With professional lessons, we provide all the gear necessary to get you up riding. After successfully completing advanced level lessons and we make a Kite Surfer out of you, we can custom fit you with a beginner's package. Check out the Gear page for more information.
